Our Surgeries and meetings
Advice Surgeries
Like most Liberal Democrats, Oldfield councillors Shaun McGall and Will Sandry hold regular public surgeries. There is no need for an appointment, please come along to share you views. They are on the first Saturday of every month between 11.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. We are at the Shaftesbury Rd entrance of the Co-op Scala supermarket. If it’s good weather we’re outside, if it’s wet and cold find us in the lobby!
PaCT meetings
Police and Communities Together meetings are organised by Avon & Somerset Police together with us, approximately every four months. All members of the public are welcome to attend. The next few meeting are as follows:
- 10 March 2010 at 6:30 PM at Moorlands Infant School, Moorfields Road
- 14 July 2010 at 6:30 PM at St Alphage’s Hall, Oldfield Lane
The details will be published on our main info pages and on the Police web site here.
Residents’ Associations and Neighbourhood Watch’s
We are very happy to attend Residents’ Association and Neighbourhood Watch meetings and welcome invitations. Particular favourites are Christmas or Summer parties!
Council Meetings
As your represtatives to the Council we attend Full Council (four meetings a year) to represent your views, concerns and issues. In addition, Will sits on the Healthier Communities and Older People Overview and Scrunity Panel (and is the Lib Dem Spokesperson). Shaun is a member of the Regulatory (Access) Commitee, and Avon Fire Authority.
